St Josephs underage teams made a successful start to their Underage championships over the weekend with wins for the Under 14 Girls and Under 15 Boys teams respectively. On Saturday 18th July, the Ladies made the short hop over to Rosemount to play Moate in the Under 14 championship. The Under 14's put in a superb display and ran out convincing 6-12 to 3-06 winners to get the campaign off to a flyer.

The Under 15 Boys team made almost as short a journey over to Tyrrellspass on Sunday 19th July where we faced the Tidy Town boys in the opening round of the Championship. After an even enough opening first quarter, St Josephs got on track with four green flags to lead by 4-7 to 0-2 at half time & in complete control. The second half was along much the same lines as we ran out very comprehensive winners by 8-11 to 1-03.
