Our Under 17 Footballers qualified for the knock out stages of the championship following a good 2-12 to 2-05 win over Kilbeggan Shamrocks in Kilbeggan on Wednesday 19th August.

Played in difficult conditions, St Josephs led by four at half time having played against the wind. Kilbeggan came well into contention early in the second half and narrowed our lead to a point but a second goal followed by a good selection of points put a seven point gap between the sides at the end.
